After a nice presentation of the Financial department activity and work programs of the financial department head Petr I was fortunate to go with Jirka on a spontaneous filedtrip. I was in Český Brod where I got to see the famous civic association Mamaloca and their public bread oven. After the tour of Mamaloca and learning about future projects we carried on to Prague where I got to see a work visits to different institutions such as ministry.
And while I had the best guide telling me about his work and Prague at Prostor plus o.p.s they were preparing for Social Trade breakfast meeting.
Yesterday I begun my week in the social center of Zengrovka where I got familiar with their center and the services they provide. They aide parents and their children focusing on social activation, child development, assistance and support to family.
I got to see clients coming to the center needing help writing their CV, applying for job, seeking advice for finding home and kids that get tutoring from the staff.
I also got to talk with Michaela about counseling and fieldwork and was happy to be with her to visit clients and witness their struggles.
And today I get to witness how winter is coming slowly to Kolin from Kolarka office listening to carols and looking forward for Thursday when I will go with Roman Kunc in KluBus – the mobile club for youth. For more great pictures visit Facebook Prostor plus!
